A sumptuous pair of late 19th-century French bergère chairs, crafted in the Louis XV style and richly carved in giltwood. Each chair features a shaped and padded backrest, scrolling arms and deep seats upholstered in a crimson and ochre checkered fabric that adds warmth and vibrancy to the ornate frames. The giltwood is finely detailed with floral and foliate motifs, while the cabriole legs and serpentine aprons complete the elegant silhouette.
