Louis Phillipe Antique French Semainière

A refined example of 19th-century French cabinetry, this early semainière is crafted from richly grained mahogany and topped with its original grey marble slab. Designed as a tall, narrow chest with seven drawers (one for each day of the week), the piece combines elegant proportions with practical storage. Each drawer is adorned with finely cast brass ring pulls, while fluted side columns and a shaped plinth lend a neoclassical detail.
