Hand‑Carved & Painted South Indian Temple Horse

A commanding statement of South Indian craftsmanship, this temple horse is an exceptional example of traditional Ayyanar shrine artistry  a form rarely encountered in such intact, characterful condition. Hand‑carved from solid wood and finished with layers of time‑worn pigment, the piece carries the unmistakable presence of an object shaped for ritual, procession, and protection.
